Meal planning
Plan meals for the week, attach recipes, and see tonight's dinner on the wall display without opening the app.

Meal planning requires the paid plan. See Plans & billing.
Meal slots
The meal planner shows a 7-day week grid with four meal slots per day:
Breakfast
Morning meal.
Lunch
Midday meal.
Dinner
Evening meal. Shown on the wall display.
Snack
Any snack or extra serving.
Each slot can hold free text (e.g., "Pasta bake") or a link to a saved recipe. You can fill as many or as few slots as you like — there is no requirement to plan every meal.
Adding a meal

Open the meal planner
Go to Meals in the app navigation. The weekly grid is shown.

Tap a slot
Tap any empty slot to open the meal editor for that day and time.

Enter free text or choose a recipe
Type a meal name directly, or tap 'Choose recipe' to pick from your recipe box.

Save
The meal appears in the grid and on the wall display.
Recipe box
The recipe box stores your household's recipes so you can re-use them each week without retyping. Recipes are shared across all household members.
What a recipe contains
- ✓Title (required)
- ✓Source URL (optional — link to a website, cookbook or video)
- ✓Ingredients (one per line)
- ✓Method / steps (free text)
Adding a recipe
- 1.Go to Meals → Recipes.
- 2.Tap 'Add recipe'.
- 3.Enter the title, ingredients and method.
- 4.Optionally add a source URL if the recipe comes from a website.
- 5.Save. The recipe is now available to all household members.
Meals on the wall display
The wall display shows today's and tomorrow's dinner in the today rail. This means everyone in the house can see what is for dinner without asking.
The today rail must be enabled in the display's layout settings to see meal information. It shows by default on new displays.
