Up for grabs
Nobody owns it. Anyone can do it.
Some jobs do not belong to one person. Put them in the up-for-grabs column and leave them there. When someone has five minutes, they claim it, do it and tick it off. The person who added it does not need to remind anyone. The job is just there, on the screen, until it is done.
It is not a rota. It is not assigned. It is just visible. That visibility does most of the work.
Anyone can claim it
Any household member taps Grab it. The task moves to their name. No assignment needed.
Unclaim if plans change
Life happens. Unclaim a task and it goes back into the pool, ready for whoever gets there first.
Visible on the wall display
Unclaimed chores appear on the shared screen. The whole house can see what needs doing from across the room.
No reminders. No nagging.
The list does the reminding. You just add the job and let the house figure it out.
Assign tasks to a person.
When something genuinely belongs to one person, assign it. It appears on their profile on the wall display and in their task list. No ambiguity about who is doing it.
Recurring routines with streaks.
Set a task to repeat daily, weekly or on a custom schedule. A streak counter shows how many times in a row it has been completed. Works well for building habits with older children.

Shopping list
A list everyone can add to.
The shopping list lives alongside your chores. Any household member can add items from their phone at any time. Items are grouped by category so the person doing the shop can work through the supermarket in order.
